Welcome to the Parent Health Hub, where we believe in empowering parents to excel in both their professional and personal lives. We understand the unique challenges faced by working parents and strive to provide comprehensive Occupational Therapy support tailored to their specific needs.

Our mission is to support parents’ health and wellbeing, recognising that a healthy and fulfilled parent leads to a thriving workforce. We offer a range of services designed to enhance employee productivity, engagement, and work-life balance. By partnering with us, businesses can create a nurturing work environment that truly values and supports their parent employees.

We understand the pressing challenges faced by parents, and the statistics speak volumes: a staggering 85% of women leave the full-time workforce within three years of having children, and 19% leave altogether [1]. However, it’s crucial to note that a remarkable 98% of mothers want to work [1].

In today’s competitive business environment, losing talented employees is costly. Every year, approximately 54,000 parents feel compelled to leave their jobs, resulting in significant financial implications [2]. The expenditure associated with hiring and training new staff, along with redundancy payouts and the subsequent lost productivity, cumulatively totals a remarkable £280 million annually [3]. This costly turnover can be avoided.

Fortunately, forward-thinking business leaders have a powerful ally: the Parent Health Hub. At the Parent Health Hub, we provide the essential support necessary to protect your valuable employees who are parents. By engaging with us, you not only safeguard your workforce but also enhance your organisation’s equality and diversity initiatives. Our focus extends beyond parents; we actively connect with under-represented groups, including caregivers and women. It’s worth noting that our courses are suitable for male parents as well. Embracing the Parent Health Hub showcases your commitment to creating an inclusive, forward-thinking work environment.

By investing in The Parent Health Hub, you provide your employees with the tools and resources they need to maintain their well-being, navigate parenthood, and thrive both at work and at home. Together, we can create a healthier, more engaged workforce and drive long-term success for your business.

In a world where mental health support is increasingly recognised as crucial, partnering with the Parent Health Hub positions your company as a beacon of support for prospective employees seeking an employer that prioritises well-being. By offering our courses, you not only invest in the personal and professional growth of your workforce but also demonstrate your dedication to their holistic well-being.

Our transformative courses are meticulously designed, offering modular flexibility that seamlessly integrates into the busy schedules of working parents. Our therapeutic consultations are tailored to your employee’s specific needs, developing personal goals, action plans and practical solutions that work for them and their working routine and environment. [Please note that our support sessions are not the right therapy pathway to support dealing with trauma or managing a mental health diagnosis. Please visit our signposting page if you would like to seek additional specialist support in these areas].

These face to face or virtual sessions are perfect for parents returning to the workforce after maternity leave or families that are about to become parents. These sessions aim to empower parents through any transition they may encounter. There is the option to run these sessions for individuals or group workshops.

We are proud to offer a range of courses that are designed to address different challenges employees might encounter as a parent. These courses can be an asset to your wellbeing package to retain and support your workforce while providing valuable continuing professional development.

Our courses can be held in person by our founder Alice Vincenti. This option also offers the opportunity for us to design something unique if you so wish to your company's specific needs. This opportunity allows you to be able to receive therapeutic advice and feedback. Please contact us directly if this is something you would be interested in via hello@parenthealthhub.co.uk
